About the program

SRCPA presents an advance program for interested participants. They will be able to learn how to control various aspects of voice and speech like volume, pitch etc.; modulation, the structure of a dialoge

This program will be beneficial for the following and is open to all:

• Acting actors
• RJs/ VJs
• Voice over actors
• Public speaker/ motivational speakers
• Program hosts, presenters
• Program structure:
• Breathing exercises
• Control of speech and command of breathing for 2-3 hours on stage
• Different technical aspects of speech:
• Volume
• Pitch
• Dialog delivery
• Breaking dialog into units and sub units
• Understanding text and subtext
• Diction (syllable and enunciation according to language)
• Timber – texture of voice
• Modulation
• Voice variations/ different type of sounds based on emotions
• Production oriented:

This program will expose its participants to a stage play but not in a usual format.

On stage dramatized reading of a full length play will follow after 2 months at the end of the program. This will require acting only with the help of your voice (no blocking, costumes, make-up; visual aids will be at minimum). Character representation will be done completely with help of the techniques learned.
